If you need to borrow a gun from the Academy to complete this class, please write a note stating that you need to borrow a gun in the Comments section of the shopping cart page.
Class teaches the armed citizen how to safely shoot handguns, the laws regarding use of a handgun for self-defense, and the laws regarding carrying and possessing handguns in Washington and Oregon. Requirements: must be 18 years or older, free of criminal background, and legal to possess a handgun.
While most students come with their own handguns, a limited number of .22 LR handguns are available. If you do not have a handgun, but want to participate in this training, please call 360-978-6100 BEFORE registering to reserve the use of one of these guns. Reservations of loaner guns are strictly on a first-come/first-served basis, so if you will need to borrow one of these guns, please register early and be sure to write a note in the Comments section telloing us you need to borrow a gun to complete the class.
